Their tougher construction provides reliable torque transmission while resisting abrasion, oil contamination and harsh working conditions. Polyurethane elements are recommended for higher-load applications or environments where standard rubber elements experience excessive wear. Common uses include agricultural equipment, quarrying, mining, materials handling and other heavy-duty industrial applications where longer element life is a priority.
