Pilot Bore or Blank Cast Iron V pulleys have an unfinished, undersized bore (or no through bore) requiring machining to match a specific shaft diameter. This allows for customisation based on application needs. They do not come with pre-machined keyways or set screws, enabling precise modification for secure installation. They are constructed of cast iron which has good wear resistance and absorbs heat.
